Howdy all!
I got to go to Vegas the past couple days, something about the consumer
electronics show...and also visited my friend who lives there. Ted has
a 64 chevy truck that his dad bought new, when Ted was 2. Ted became
owner of the truck when he was in high school...a couple years later,
the 292 broke, so he put in a big block, following my example :)
Anyways, after all these years, he's finally getting his truck painted!
by a friend from his work. His friend, Brian, has some old stuff laying
around his house, including a 1949 GMC 450 school bus, which his father
converted to an RV many years ago. Has the original 270, which was
rebuilt not too many miles ago. The bus is not the best looking, it's
coverd in rolled on blue house paint, and has some windows covered up
with camper type corregated aluminum, and it is now being used for
storage of household junk.
With all the talk of big GMCs lately, I thought I'd mention it.
