A man once walked into a store selling fine mechanical widgets, a derisive
sneer on his face. He walked through the aisles finding fault with each
and every widget on the shelves, making his comments to himself but loudly
enough for the other customers to hear. Finally, after walking through
each and every section of the store, the man stomped loudly to the front
door, and pointed an accusatory finger at the proprietor (who was busy
helping a customer buy mechanical widgets), "Your store is the saddest of
its like I have ever seen! Such disorganization, such poor lighting, and
not a single box marked with size or color information! How you expect to
sell anyone shoes is beyond me!"
The derisive man then walked out the front door, slamming it loudly behind
him before the proprietor could respond.
The proprietor blinked a few times before commenting to the now empty
foyer, "but sir, this is a widget store, not a shoe store."
