[oletrucks] WING VENT GLASS

I’m ready to replace the glass in my 57 wing vents.  I
believe that I remember watching a glass man replace a wing
vent glass on the truck in the early 60’s.  I think he
squirted a clear fluid onto the old glass and it slipped
right out.  He probably used the same fluid to slip the new
one in with new glass tape.
Anyone know what that fluid might be?
