I'm ready to install a new firewall pad that has the hard rubber over a
"jute" type backing fiberous fabric. I'll need to cut various holes in the
pad for wiring, hoses, etc. The backing is so tough I can't figure how to
neatly cut it. I can do a little damage with sharp scissors but a drill
doesn't work - just balls up the fibers. A razor knive doesn't do the trick
either. Suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
