[oletrucks] Vin questions

Ok guys and gals....I've got a question.  Are there any other places I can find 
the Vin # on a 
truck...other than the frame.....unless it's not just in front of the steering 
box.....the 
previous owner has welded a V8 motermount setup hear....there's no plate inside 
the door...and 
nothing near the A-Pillar inside the windsheild.....

I know this has been hashed over before...but I don't remember where the FAQ's 
are.
