Well, I have decided it is time to look into the poor ride quality of my 3100. Seems I only have about 2 inches clearance between the rubber bumpers and frame on my front springs. Looking at the springs themselves, they are almost perfectly straight, with no arch. Do they need replaced or can they be re-arched? Who has done either of these things and what is the source of replacement and price? Mike Klepp '48 3100 Wichita Falls, TX oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
