I don't know too much about the 54 and early 55's, so you'll need to
check with someone else on color schemes. Earlier though, you
could get a truck in "Omaha orange" so it could be original.
As far as tires, they usually came with 6.00x16, but 6.50x16, and
6.70x16 were available too. Can't find these anymore unfortunately
but Coker tire in Chattanooga has bought the old molds and
remanufactures most of the old brands (Firestone, B.F. Goodrich,
etc.). They're expensive though (about 90 bucks each). Many
tubeless radials will work on the old 16" rims though (215 or 235?).
Others on the list may have other ideas on tires.
