The best way to protect the Big Blue ID plate is to remove it! Just push
the rivets out from the back side and put the plate in a safe place until
the job is done! The rivets are reusable.
Along the same line has anyone ever relocated the SS serial number plate to
a different cab? How did you spot weld it with out ruining it?
