Try Air freight.
Also, did you know that tires and wheels can be checked as luggage when you fly
with them? My son and a friend brought 4 tires with wheels from Tucson to
California a month ago. They got quite a few looks in the airport rolling them
around to the check-in counter.

Subject: [oletrucks] Shipping tires
I am looking for options for shipping a set of tires (8.25 X 20...large
tires)
across country. No rims, just tires.
Are loose tires acceptable for shipment, or are they going to have to
be packaged somehow?
As to how to ship??? UPS?
I know you can mail order tires, so somebody ships them...I just need to
figure out who.
Thanks,
Steve Brandon
