Michael et al,

     The cabs and fenders are the same except for the differences you note -
but there are some differences in the sheet metal that shrouds the radiator,
and where the hood latch attaches. I believe that the GMC uses a different
radiator as well  - Most Chev AD's I've seen have the filler neck in the
center, my GMC (original radiator to my knowledge) has the filler on the
passenger side. The radiator is definitely positioned in a more forward
location, due to the longer GMC engine.

 These sheet metal filler pieces often get discarded when the engine or
radiator is removed, and it can be real hard to find. I was able to locate
them at Adler's Antique Autos. Proprietor also enlightened me that GMC used
Phillips head fasteners in this area, rather than "stove bolts". Another
small but important difference to the restorer....
