[oletrucks] Stock Cross and needle bearing? aka. Universal Joint?

I have found a " Replacement stock cross and needle bearing journal assembly 
for the 1940-1949 chevrolet truck 1/2 ton and the 1950-1951 chevrolet car. 
Manufactured by International Gear Co."  for sale.
My question is: IS THIS A FANCY WAY OF SAYING "UNIVERSAL JOINT"?
it sorta sounds like it...
