Hello,
Thanks to all who have helped me to get a game plan for fixing the gasket on
the rear cover. I will check with NAPA and then when I recover from the
shock, They are always high around here, I'll contemplate doing the make your
own Gasket paper routine. Any way, is there any thing I can inspect that is
of any great importance whilst I have the gear cover off the back? Also, is
there a special or particular brand of gaskett paper that everyone likes (I
know the Lincon saying about some of the people and all of the people, but I
just want to know what the feel is oput there.
ALSO, I have heard that the differential from a TF will fit in the housing
for the AD closed shaft and that then you just have to weld the perches in at
the riht angle and badda bing badda boom you have an open drive rear end
(with a higher ratio), My Question is ...
Are there any other years/ ratios available that will fit into the rear end
housing that I have, where I can still keep the same backing plates and huck
brakes and parking brake assemb. (Man, what a run on sentance.....)
Thanks in AD vance,
Casey
