First off, I contact whoever you got them from and complain. It would
appear the holes were drilled after the chrome was applied. Second,
consider using stainless steel screws. This will minimize rust (or possible
that the rust you are seeing is the screw, not the housing). Third, polish
with chrome polish, then wax as you would your paint. This will help to
prevent rust.
