Subject: Truck Question
Hi there. I am in the process of restoring a 1946
Chevy 1/2 ton pick up.
the truck is a very early 46. on the front window
pillers , on both sides right on the bottom, before it
becomes the cowl there is a weld. Is this right or has
this truck had a new top put on it sometimes in its
past.
Should I leave the welds there or grind them down and
have the window pillers smooth? Thanking you in
advance. Marty martin@in4web.com
