I don't have an answer, but I was wondering also about upgrading to ,not
just the tapered bearings, but also some newer larger drum brakes. Some with
the automatic adjustments/newer style would be nice. Seems like the older
big cars had huge drum brakes with finned brake drums. Anybody tried that?
