[oletrucks] intake manifold paint

Last fall there were some threads about intake manifold paint.  Some
suggested painted the same as the engine, others said paint cast iron
color.  What is the general consensus?  This will not be a show truck.
Would cleaning and leaving original be the best option?

Also,were 57 235's originally painted gray?  Mine has orange valve
cover?
