Hi all,
Whilst sitting at my desk today attempting to get a program to span multiple
monitors, I took a moment to think about the time I spent in Europe...
Well, the skinny was at the time I owned a verry rough '53 3600 here in the
states, and knew a little about the AD's, like I love the body style....
ANYWAY, the position that I held required the maintenance of about 16 OPEL
CORSA's and because we had such a large fleet of OPEL's, the OPEL corp
invited us to a free round of golf at one of Brussel's newer golf courses, I
don't turn down anything free so off we went. Well the skinny of it is that
we watched a video about the history of the OPEL (GM Europe) Mark, and they
showed some photo's of OUR TRUCKS, this was quite a shock! I mean this was
the real deal, at 80% scale. The trucks were just plain smaller than our
Beasts, but the look was unmistakenly AD. Has any one ever seen one of
these, the photos were not dated but I believe that the time was about the
same, the photo's were black and white and they were of the assembly line.
Again I ask am I the only one that has seen these?
I will investigate the web further for pictures....
Just remembering...
