You can say the GMC 228 was replaced with a Chevy 216, and it has 1951 doors
on it. what does it have for an ID plate on driver's door post? Any dates
on radiator, tranny, bell housing or rear end? what's the paperwork say?( or
was that optional with your find?)
Gas tank in cab= 49 or newer cab
tubular shocks = 50 or newer chasis
Vent windows in doors but not in cowl side= 51 or newer cab
