[oletrucks] patch panel

Hello,
Does anyone have experience or knowledge of a patch panel for the area 
between the roof and back glass on a 59' apache.  I have the big window and 
their is just a slice of metal all the across until you get to the roof and I 
have pin holes of rust all the way across that small strip.  Has anyone 
repaired this type of rust?  Your tips are much appreciated.
