Hi All,
Having problems fitting the generator mounted power steering pump under the
split Nicson exhaust headers on my 59 GMC with 270 Straight Six. I've heard
that a split exhaust can be made using 1/2 of the stock exhauast manifold
and half of a Cab Over Engine exhaust manifold. Anyone out there have a GMC
COE that can measure from the outlet center line say to the front #1 exhaust
port center line. Also in what direction does the COE outlet point
..straight down, angled side? angled rear? Finally, does anyone have a good
stock GMC standard or COE exhaust manifold they'd like to sell?
I'll have some progress photos soon as the truck has now been
painted...Yeah.
Thanks for all assistance.
