I have a '54 chevy 3100 and a '51 GMC panel that both have '54 chevy 235's, the timing on the 3100 needs to be adjusted ahead and the panel needs to be adjusted back just a bit. I was looking on the engine and I could not see any reference marks to use a timing light with. Are there reference marks? or how do you adjust the timing? What is the best way to set the timing?
