Well, my truck finally heads to the paint and body shop today and I am sure
glad it is out of my sight for a while. I've been working on it for 3 1/2
years and turning it around in the driveway yesterday was the first time I
had ever driven it. Hopefully it won't take too many weeks to get back
because I still have a lot of work to do to get it on the road. My biggest
problem is still trying to get over the sticker shock of what the paint and
body shops around here (Houston) want to do their thing. I talked to 4
different places and the cheapest (relative term) was $4000 and I have
already done all the sandblasting, priming , and 70% of the bodywork. Oh
well, its only money. As soon as I get some pictures scanned I will try and
post some before and after pics.
