Don't know about the first, but I went to the 2nd (last year) & am planning
on going to the 3rd (this year's-my rig is 50 yrs old this year-CAN'T MISS
IT!). I know some other list members attended, just don't know them by
name/face (maybe some others will respond). It was not real big last year;
only about 60-70 entries & a dozen or so vendors. It was the first "show"
that I really ever participated in (I've been to more swap meets than I can
count, but never did a show b4 this one). It is kind of like the list
(except AD models only), i.e. everything from blown rods to everyday beaters
& stock restores. I parked next to a guy who bought his 55-1st in 56 & has
been driving it since (a few mods, mind you) & had documented over 900,000
miles! They had a lot of nice give aways, contests & games for the kids &
adults.
Just kind of cool to see so many ADs in one place at one time. The farthest
came from Austin last year (got an award-they have awards for everything).
The 900,000 miler came from Ft. Smith, AR.
If anyone wants, I can send an entry form-send me mailing address off the
list.
