[oletrucks] 48 chevy framework

I am wondering if anybody has ever turned a 2-wd pickup to a 4x4.  The
pickup I have is a 48 chevy 3/4 ton 2-wd.  Someone told me that another
frame might be needed.  If this is the case, does anybody know what
kind of frame I could or should use, and what modifications I would
have to use?  Thanks for your help.
