Just rip out the old six, drop in a V8, and modify the suspension. That'll
cure the problem.
Then you can keep up with the Japanese cars running at 80 to 85 MPH. :>)
Anway, I wouldn't trust a stock 45-year old vehicle (no matter what
condition it's in) running at speeds in excess of 50 MPH.
I seen vintage cars such as Model Ts running down the freeway at about 55.
Those guys are nuts! It's tantamount to playing catch with a Ming Dynasty
vase!
