All right guys, I need some help diagnosing a problem, its probably
something simple but I'll still take advice cause it will cut down on
the amount of time I have to work on it.
I just bought a 1981 1 ton chevy with a 454 and 400 turbo. When I go
55-65mph the truck rns at a pulse/rumble. It happens mostly with the gas
applied and not while coasting. It feels like a rythmic pulsing coming
from the engine/trans. I had a F*rd that did the same thing. It wasn't a
smooth ride at 65+ but a pulsing sensation...any ideas? The engine/trans
only has 30,000 original miles (verifiable). Trans fluid is clean and
doesn't smell burnt, same for engine oil.... Help!
