Would any oletruckers be interested in bringing their oletrucks to
the Chino Airshow April 24 & 25? I am the volunteer coordinator for display
vehicles for this show and can offer discounted addmissions and special
display vehicle parking for this event.
For the first time in something like 10 years "The Air Museum" will
present a full fledged air show complete with aerobatics, low level flybys,
wing walkers and speed. Scheduled this year are three WWII aerobatic
displays, (a P-51, an F8F and a Sea Fury), a B-1 flyby, a couple of legacy
flybys (A-10/P-47 & F-15C/P-38J), and historic aircraft from the “Planes of
Fame” and other collections. Among the anticipated birds are: P-51 Mustangs,
P-47 Thunderbolts, F4U Corsairs, F6F Hellcat, P-38 Lighting, B-25 Mitchells,
two B-17s, a B-24, Heinkel 111, T-33, F-86, the worlds only authentic flying
A6M Zero, N9M-B Flying Wing and numerous others. The planes will be on static
display when not flying, and veteran pilots & aircrew will be on hand to meet
& talk with us. If it rains, only the flying portion will be cancelled.
If you think you might be interested, please e-mail me.
