It's really cool to see so many 51 chevy truck owners out there. I just
started tearing mine apart today. In about 2 hours I was able to get the
rear fenders, bed and hood removed. Then I put it up on blocks so I can
remove the torque tube and rear end. Anyone needing them give me a holler.
I'll be replacing them with 84 Camaro running gear. I will start on the
front fenders in the morning. Is it better to remove the whole front clip
and then break it down? Any advice on any aspect of the teardown would be
apreciated.
