wow.
I live in a small town outside of portland and one of the greatest rewards IA
recieve is to see people who work just enough to meet their
needs and have no shame about driving an older rig. Who can argue that
having a simple four door galaxie( '68 or so) with a 390 is a rig that should
be
taken off the road because of its age. If these families were forced to step
up
and buy a newer rig the wife might have to abandon the home and step on to the
rat race teadmill , which probably would make one more car tripping towards
Portland daily to a job each day. How does that reduce pollution?
And if you change the age limitation to 67 so that that car passes,what about
the
families driving a '67. Don't legislate the need to step onto the
treadmill,which is
the single largest detrement to familys known to this society.
