I'm replacing my some of my Chevy gauges with GMC replacements, oil (0-60 for my 235 engine) and temperature (electrical instead of closed tube type). I need to know how to wire this type temp gauge in my upgraded 12 volt system. Must I use a resistor and if so, what size and where? Has anyone else done this modification to their trucks?
