Since we're on the subject. In my '53 Chevy I have a 90 mph speedometer
that has a needle shaped like a highly-stylized (art-deco?) arrowhead. The
needle is black near the base but the point and the part of the stem down to
the little chrome ring on the gauge face are white. All of the reference
material I have seen says that the needle should be straight and white. My
gauges are unrestored and almost certainly not original to the truck. Is
this possibly a GMC gauge?
