I bought a replacement light switch from LMC. It was a plastic piece of
crap that I stripped the threads on the first time I tried to attach it.
They charged me $15 dollars for it and I was quite angry with them but I
was in the process of moving to Florida and didn't have a chance to
contact them about it and still haven't. I don't know about the rest of
their parts and I don't know about their customer service but I doubt I
will order from them again.
That may be unfair but that is how I feel. I paid good money for a part
and got a .50 cent piece of junk. This goes along the lines that the
group has been talking about with suppliers. You get what you pay for. I
should have went to a different supplier that may have had a better
product at a more expensive price. I ordered from LMC cause they were
the cheapest supplier that I had a catalog for at the time.
On the other hand, I have found Chevy's of the 40's to have what I need
and though they may not be exclusively truck and have deep inside
knowledge of the trucks they were able to find the 1 ton rear brake
springs for my truck that I had not been able to find else where.
