My '58 NAPCO has a round hole in the floor for the transfer case shifter. The
hole is surrounded by a few screw holes as if a boot once covered the hole.
If so, the boot is long gone. Does anyone know if the factory included a boot
over this hole and if so, what did it look like? Many truck parts suppliers
offer a round rubber boot which is about the right size. They don't advertise
the boot for this application, but it would probably work. These parts
suppliers don't offer a hold-down ring for this boot; did the factory setup
include a hold-down ring?
Thanks,
Brian Morrison
