| Hey guys-
I got a set of decals from Chevy Duty for my gauges, and they are really
nice. Match the color perfectly, and if you read the instructions, and
spray a light mist of water on both surfaces, they are easy to apply.
Question: It seems that the gas gauge has been unhooked for a few decades,
but the gauge itself seems to be intact. I have a wire coming from the
sending unit at the tank, which obviously attaches to the gauge. On the
back of the gauge I have 2 terminal posts, one of which I assume is for the
sending unit, and the other a hot wire? I want to make sure before I do
something that will set off a spark or something. Then, there appear to be
2 very small terminals extending from 2 tiny coils. Do these fasten to
anything? I doubt it, because I have the 2 terminal posts where the nuts
fasten on the back of the gauge. It's just a little confusing, since I
don't have anything to go by.
Thanks-
Smokey
