I took a drive Sunday on a road I'd always wanted to try. Route 16 from
Woodland to Route 20 near Clear Lake Oaks.
It was a one of the most gorgeous routes I've ever seen. An hour's drive up
a beautiful valley with a few small towns, lots of farmland, and rolling
hills.
It may be too far for a club ride, because it takes 90 minutes to get to
Clearlake Oaks, and over 2 hours to get back to Santa Rosa via Woodland, but
if you ever have the opportunity, you'll be richly rewarded in beauty!
