We have made a dash to Yosemite, leaving Glen Ellen at 4:30 AM for
brunch at the Ahwahnee.... arriving at 8:45 (including one stop for a
pee break). We then spent the remainder of the day wandering back
home on all the roads you never even knew were there. It was a grand
day and great fun.
Staying overnight at Yosemite can be very problematic due to issues
booking rooms and planning > 6 months in advance.
