I realized I should call Chris at PRI right after I posted the message (that's
where I got the shocks to begin with). He said the reason he didn't supply a
wrench with the front shocks is that it fouls against the frame and a-arms. His
suggestion was to use a large flat blade screwdriver and a mallet. I'll do that
if I have to, but I'm open to any other suggestions. I don't want to beat up
the aluminum retainers.
