And believe it or not, my yellow 76 Lotus Sprint is regarded as the
coolest thing in the world by my teenage kids (though they think some
of my other cars are off the charts boring!).
My son Lionel enjoyed the ride he took with the club, and plans to
ride with us more often. He and I have been working on restoring a red
74 Lotus Elite which is now runs well but still looks beastly ugly.
The more we do to encourage kids his age, the less chance of our cars
being dumped contemptously by our heirs when we're gone, like the gal
I bought the Rolls Royce off of a couple of months back.
I'm moving into a new house next month, car friendly, with a huge
circular parking lot and outdoor barbecue area. Would love to host a
club lunch after a ride early in 2009. 1490 Mark West Springs Rd.
