Editors,

Another program worth looking at is MS Publisher which I have been using
successfully for the past 4 years and like it as I can import MS Word
documents into it almost seamlessly and export it in HTML format for
posting to the BATANS web site. I imagine all the other programs will do
this as well.

I also keep the members information (150+ addresses, etc.) on another MS
program, Outlook which makes a really neat membership directory when I
print it on my HP 890C DeskJet printer. It prints both sides of the 8.5 X
11 paper and when the sheets are cut in half horizontally, place the top
pages on top of the bottom half and all the pages are numbered correctly
and all I have to do is place two staples on the vertical fold line and it
is complete. The size of the finished booklet is 1/4 the size of an 8.5 X
11 sheet of paper = 4.25" X 5.5" - a handy pocket size. Everyone thinks I'm
a genius! (don't tell them how easy it is)

Later,
Bob
