Hi John,
=C2=A0
What William suggested brought to mind what I did when one of my rear brake=
s froze up about ten years ago.=C2=A0 It was a nice summers day and I drove=
 my '67 4/4 off for about a 10 mile lunch run.=C2=A0 When I stopped there w=
as an unpleasant smell from driver's side rear and a smoking brake drum.=C2=
=A0=20
=C2=A0
After some thought over lunch, I did exactly what William suggested=C2=A0 -=
I backed off the adjustment screw on the affected wheel.=C2=A0 That freed =
the wheel up and I was able to carefully drive home with just the front bra=
kes operative.=C2=A0 If I remember right the drum came off easily.=C2=A0 I =
needed new brake shoes and I replaced both rear wheel brake cylinders.=C2=

the family.=C2=A0 We'll see how the weather is this next week or so.
