Ok,
here we go with more detail

the Super Sports and low line cars had an alloy block that clamped the
steering column (mine has one also)

the tube of metal brace goes back and forth next to bulkhead, and
parallels the cowl above and is bolted in place.

in some cars there is a two clamp system held with a bolt together that
holds the steering column

this can be seen

click on the picture associated, number 24 is the block and 22 the pair
of clamps

What is of interest is,

did the morgan low lines and super sports have both the clamps and block
or just one?

if you look under your dash and follow your steering column down, do you
find that pair of clamps or a block clamp or both?

if you see the pair of clamps you will find your bulkhead brace going
side to side, please look at its length

I am hoping for a poll by year and what you have.

Linda lists 100-617 inside brace 1967-68 and SS (this is what I have on
my car)

and a tube of metal the bulkhead brace goes by the column, the question
is for the low line cars did both setups get put on?

please look and answer!

thanks
