I hope this will become something like "Practical Classics" or "Popular
Classics" in a North American context, rather than another "European Car." The
U.S. could use a good, all-around, practical-collector-car magazine. There are
plenty of mags devoted to "Hot hatches" and million-watt-sound-system
installations. Even "European Car" started out with good intentions toward the
older cars. But, the need for ad revenue has a strong gravitational pull on the
editorial direction.

I wish them good luck and success, and I look forward to the first issue.
