rear area battery cover morgan plus 4

Hi,

asking for help again, but getting there thanks to all the great advice.

behind my seats is a open area that has a flat plywood I assume cover,
its over the dual batteries.

it looks to be about 1/4 to half inch plywood,   

I can get marine grade and cut it out, but does anyone know what was
original?
