What's wrong with synthetic oil? I've used Mobil 1 ATF in my Plus 8,
haven't had problems yet.
And was the "definitive" answer to gearbox lube posted on this list? I
seem to have missed it.
The warnings about towing should be taken very seriously. I understand
that towing the car with the rear wheels turning the transmission for
even a short distance will destroy the gearbox.
