I installed a coolant recovery system on my '67 4/4 w/1600 cc XFLOW engine
about a year ago and it really helped. Found a small overflow tank at my
local TRAK Auto and bought a 4 # pressure radiator cap. Mounted it on the
inside of the passenger (right) side fender up close to radiator and just out
of reach of the fan blades. Cost me less than $20 for the tank and cap
combined.

Be sure to get a cap designed for recovery-they have to be airtight when
there is a vacuum in the system, and have a rubber gasket that contacts the
top of the filler neck orifice. They don't have protruding ears, as do the
caps made for non-recovery systems. Dave Collins, San Diego
