Tim,
Thanks so much, what you listed sounds like what other british tool kits
consisted contained. I have a bent wire screw driver and a pair pliers from
my Morris Minor. Will seek the rest. Again thanks.

<< Greetings...
Jeff Webster posted the following tool kit contents in another DG. Standard
Tool Kit Contained 2 box spanners-a tubular double ended affair used with a
tommy-bar, 3 double ended spanners (no sizes listed), 1 adjustable spanner
(don' know if that is a crescent type or the monkey-wrench type supplied in
other british tool kit), 1 pair pliers, 1 screwdriver (some english kits I've
seen had wooden handled ones, others have "bent wire" ones), 1 contact point
gauge, 1 tire pump, 1 grease gun. All in a tool roll. There should also be
a "stevenson screw jack" (I believe that is the one that goes through the
floorboards) and a starting handle. I have another list somewhere I'll Email
you when (if) I find it.
I hope this helps. I've been slowly putting together something similar.
Some stuff is still available new (starter handle- point gauge) while others
are difficult (read expensive) If you are looking for something to put
together for a show car, I think anything close to the above is probably
acceptable because no one knows for sure. Note - what is listed in ( )'s
are my own comments added to Jeffs list.
Good luck and good Morganing
