Dick,
Two questions:
How can we keep our cars up here if you guys keep buying them? Yeah, I
know, we should not sell them.
Importing "real toilets" from "up here?" What do you use now in Oregon?
(oops, three questions, but I answered one already)
Chuck Vandergraaf in Manitoba and co-owner (with his wife) of two "real
toilets" in the house (and a fake one? In the boat)

And then there was the fellow who brought a Land Rover Dorm-mobile
from BC to
Portland, OR last year. Seems he paid about half cash and half by
cashiers
check. Got a receipt for each. Threw some dirt and H2O all over
the thing
and put it on a trailer. When he got to the border he "forgot" to
give one
of the receipts to the inspector and paid tax accordingly. I've
tlked to him
and he is believable.
Personally, I'm the kind of guy who would pay two dollars more for
an
Armadillo purse from a Tiajuana vendor and couldn't pull something
like that
off. No guts.
However, I'm doing some remodling and thinking seriously of
importing a real
toilet from up there.
