Hi John,
This is the same fellow I'm trying to help, but
we're going to need a few more bits of info.
For one, Did he find that 1899 number engraved
into the hood hinge, or on a metal plate attached
to the toolbox or firewall? If it's the later, it
may be a Fergus Motors commission number and
not the serial.
I've also asked if the car a drophead? Flat-rad?
2-seater or 4-seater?
When he gets back to us on these, we may have
a little more to go on and can pinpoint the
model year for him.
