Hobbs is always a hoot and I agree that SOME of the coverage was excellen
BUT, did you really need to have DeCadaney tell you what an MG is in the
middle of a race. etc. etc. etc.

The perils of watching Motor Racing on TV these days Don! Also, Alain De
Cadanet(Transplanted Frog?!) is sort of learning on the job per commentating
and has not developed a likable style yet. I find myself experiencing faint
irritation whenever his programs(Legends of Motorsport etc) are aired. Hobby
is indeed a HOOT, I agree, as is Derek Daly. Sam Posey is just plain SO
knowledgeable - the best in my book. Also I suspect that Speedvision is
trying to retain the NASCAR/CART/IMSA/ fans in the Audience, assuming that
THEY Don't know anything but American Iron! Speedvision deludes itself on
that score methinks! Still, IU must confess to misssing old Raymond Baxter
on the Beeb with his measured and HUSHED tones so you didn't miss the song
of the engines!
Keep on moggin'
