Two pack, or not two pack...

I think that having now done practically everything I want to mechanically
to my '72 4/4, it's time to treat it to a respray over the winter. The
question is, what to paint it with? It is at present finished in cellulose
paint, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that two pack is less
susceptible to stone chips. Do any list members have any observations? Are
there any other alternatives?
